I can finally post this in-studio and on location bridal session. Kate’s mom bought her wedding dress without a ring in sight (I’m not even sure she was dating at the time) and boy did she hit it out of the ballpark! This amazing antique with incredible lace is a one of a kind unique creation, just like the bride wearing it. I love doing bridal portraits. Dunno why. You would think as someone who specializes in documentary photography, I wouldn’t enjoy them so much but, shrug, I do. Here’s the latest one…

Oh wait.. I remember why I love doing portraits!! Because life happens during portraits too!

Michelle and Jamison

I didn’t get a chance to blog this wedding before my New York trip so I’m hoping to make it up to you guys by adding a couple of extra images to your sneek peak! I have so enjoyed working with Michelle and Jamison – between the engagement session, bridal portrait, meetings and then finally their lovely wedding in July, I feel that we have really had the chance to connect.

I ADORE this image by Angela, my second at this wedding!

I was pleasantly surprised by the Renaissance Center - the area is definitely urban but inside, the rooms, (especially the ballroom) were beautiful! Most of all, I was IMPRESSED with how well the staff treated Michelle and Jamison. I’ve photographed a number of weddings with family BBQ in the backyard to hefty budgets and multiple staff and I dont think any couple has been as sweetly, efficiently and thoughtfully cared for.

Did I mention how beautiful the ballroom was? The light was just gorgeous!

I just love moments.

Some are funnier than others! Rock on Jamison!

And I love it when I can be there for the exit!

A bridal portrait at the Villa at Krislea! I ADORE this location but unfortunately, I can’t show you the full length shots right now since this bride isn’t getting married until July!
